Terms of Service

These Terms of Service apply when you access or use Web Harmonium at https://webharmonium.blog.

Using Web Harmonium

Web Harmonium provides a browser-based harmonium-style instrument for personal practice, teaching support, vocal reference, raga exploration, bhajan rehearsal, sargam drills, and keyboard mapping practice.

By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with the site, other users, browsers, devices, advertising systems, or hosting infrastructure.

Practice tool, not professional advice

Web Harmonium is provided as a music practice aid. It is not a substitute for a qualified music teacher, medical advice, hearing care, voice therapy, or professional performance preparation.

Pitch, tuning, latency, MIDI behavior, and audio output can vary by browser, device, speaker, headphones, operating system, and connected hardware. You are responsible for checking whether the sound is suitable for your practice setting.

Accounts, payments, and availability

The current site is a static web tool and does not require an account to play. We may update, remove, reorganize, or limit features when needed for maintenance, performance, security, compatibility, or product improvement.

We try to keep the tool useful and accessible, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, exact musical accuracy on every device, or compatibility with every MIDI controller.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to damage, overload, scrape in an abusive way, bypass technical protections, inject malicious code, misuse advertising systems, or use the site for unlawful activity.

You may link to Web Harmonium, use it in lessons, and share it with students or fellow musicians as long as you do not misrepresent ownership or imply an endorsement that has not been granted.

Intellectual property

The Web Harmonium name, page design, written content, interface layout, and site-specific assets are owned by or licensed to the site operator unless otherwise stated.

You retain ownership of your own practice, performances, compositions, lesson plans, and musical ideas. The site does not claim ownership of music you play through your browser.

Third-party services

The site may include third-party scripts, ads, browser APIs, fonts, hosting services, or analytics-style infrastructure. Those services may have their own terms and policies.

We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that you access through external links or browser-level controls.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Web Harmonium is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties about uninterrupted operation, error-free behavior, fitness for a particular purpose, or exact musical results.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Web Harmonium and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms of Service as the site changes. The effective date above shows the current version.
