What Web Harmonium is
Web Harmonium is a free static music practice tool for playing harmonium-style tones in a web browser. The site is designed for raga, bhajan, sargam, vocal warm-up, and keyboard mapping practice.
Most practice features run directly in your browser. The tool does not require an account, and we do not ask you to submit your name, phone number, practice recordings, or musical preferences to use the harmonium.
Information you provide
If you contact us by email at support@webharmonium.blog, we may receive your email address, message content, and any details you choose to include. We use that information only to read, respond to, and manage your request.
Please do not send sensitive personal information, private health information, payment details, or confidential musical material unless it is necessary for your support question.
Browser data, audio, and MIDI
The harmonium controls may use browser storage to remember local preferences such as selected scale, sound settings, MIDI status, or interface choices. These settings are stored on your device so the tool can feel consistent when you return.
When you use MIDI, your browser may ask for permission to access connected MIDI devices. Web Harmonium uses that browser permission to receive note input for practice. We do not intentionally collect or sell MIDI note activity.
The audio engine runs in the browser to play harmonium notes, drone, reverb, and related sound controls. Web Harmonium is not designed to record your microphone or upload your practice audio.
Advertising and third-party services
Web Harmonium may display ads or use third-party services that help operate, measure, protect, or monetize the site. These providers may use cookies, device identifiers, IP address information, or similar technologies according to their own policies.
For advertising disclosures and controls, you can review Google policies for advertising cookies and user choices. Your browser, device, and regional consent tools may also let you limit cookies or personalized advertising.
Caching and service workers
Web Harmonium uses static files and may use a service worker cache so the tool loads faster and remains available in limited offline situations. Cached files can include HTML, scripts, styles, icons, and audio assets needed for practice.
You can clear cached site data from your browser settings if you want to reset local storage, cached files, or permissions.
How we use information
We use information to operate the site, provide the harmonium experience, remember local settings, respond to support messages, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable obligations.
We do not sell contact emails sent to support@webharmonium.blog. We also do not use contact requests to build a public user profile.
Your choices
You can use browser controls to block or delete cookies, clear local storage, revoke MIDI permissions, disable service worker data, or limit ad personalization where those controls are available.
If you previously contacted us and want to request deletion of your support message, email support@webharmonium.blog with enough context for us to locate the request.
Children's privacy
Web Harmonium is a general music practice tool. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact support@webharmonium.blog so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
Updates and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy when the site, browser features, advertising setup, or legal requirements change. The effective date above shows the current version.
Questions about this policy can be sent to support@webharmonium.blog.
